From Studio to Shop: How a DWSS Release Goes Live
Behind the scenes of a catalog drop: mix decisions, artwork, streaming, and the moment a release hits the shop. Follow the path from session to sale.

Every title on this site walked a path: session → arrangement → mix → master → artwork → publish → stream → (sometimes) sale. Here’s how Doctor Watts Sound Supply turns a finished cut into something you can play — and support — on the catalog.

The path

  1. Studio. Capture the idea. Protect the low end. Leave space. Print a master that survives phones and systems.
  2. Release build. Tracks ordered, credits locked, artwork that reads at thumbnail size and on a sleeve.
  3. Catalog publish. The release goes live with streaming, metadata, and a player built for long sessions.
  4. Story. Blog spotlights, featured hero slides, and roster pages so people can find the music cold.
  5. Shop (when ready). Digital packs, individual tracks, vinyl or merch — PayPal checkout, downloads unlocked after payment.

What you can do right now

  • Stream the latest in the catalog
  • Open a release and use Play all
  • Check the shop for live product drops
  • Follow this blog so you never miss the next studio-to-street moment

Great music deserves a clean pipeline. We’re building that pipeline in public — one release at a time.
